On 8 April 2019 Palau became the 101st State Party to the Arms Trade Treaty, the third Pacific Island country after Samoa and Tuvalu. In association with the Stimson Center, CAVR has been working closely with Palau for several years, facilitating national and regional workshops in Koror.
